This workshop teaches you how to use acrylic paint as a cathartic tool to express yourself.

Students will be guided through each step of the process by me, and the aim will be to tap into your quietest voice, learning something new or reigniting an old flame inside yourself.

Using a combination of ‘mess making techniques’ we will explore the expansive terrains of ‘dark surrealism’ and ‘visionary art’.

You are guaranteed to experience fun or catharsis - sometimes both at the same time - and you’ll leave this workshop with a painting that’s totally unique to you.

That’s the beauty of this process: it’s not about us all sitting around painting a super realistic apple.

It’s about making a mess in a really fun way, with a bunch of other awesome people, and turning it into something cool!

This is about rawness, intuition, and a celebration of your inner weirdo.

HOW

This is an online workshop that runs over four weeks via Zoom (download the app here)

4 weekly sessions, 2 hours per session.

WHAT

It is a paint along workshop, although you can just observe and try later if you really prefer.

I personally find you get the most out of it by just going for it in the moment, rather than waiting till later where you will be inclined to be more ‘careful’.
